|Whisk(e)y type:||Single Malt|
|Flavour:||Gentle and creamy in the nose. Notes of honey, vanilla ice-cream and a breath of banana chips let themselves be seen.|
|Taste:||The first impression is rounded and rich, fully of fruits, sweet apples, vanilla and a note which causes nostalgic memories of a Banana Split.|
|Finish:||At first firm honey, followed by another nostalgic flavour - cream soda and just at the end notes of lasting tasty wood.|
|Awards:||Jim Murray - 96.5 points. He calls the Bryn Terfel "the best whisky ever filled at Penderyn"!|
The latest filling in the series "Icons of Wales" celebrates the Welsh opera singer Bryn Terfel, or said more exactly, his favourite role, Falstaff .
The whisky is round, tasty and luxuriant and a theatrical element was awarded to the bottle, so the whisky reflects the character of Falstaff so perfectly.
Penderyn Distillery is the only distillery in Wales and one of the smallest distilleries in the whole world. The name comes from the old Welsh village, located at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons mountain range.
